Hoping you have found peace

Michael Jackson 1958-2009

MJ

Because of what happened today, the world of music as we knew it will never be the same again. And tonight, there is truly blood on the dance floor.

For some of us, it is too soon to hear his songs. For others, it is even too soon for words. It is too soon to talk about Michael Jackson in past tense, too soon to want to pay tribute, or make him a postmortem hero.

Tonight,  I want to fall asleep and pretend it is still the ’90s and I am playing the King’s records to practice choreographies, dream of lovers, and let my soul explode with joy at the thought of making the world…a better place. I want to pretend, one last time, that he is still here allowing us to live vicariously through the intense vibrations he sends on stage.

Tonight I dream of a black puma. Red jacket. Hats and sequence. Gloves and military outfits. Thrillers. Black or White equality. Brothers and Lovers. Earth. The moonwalk.

I am not ready to miss him quite yet…

Motto: “I’m starting with the man in the mirror. I’m Asking Him To Change His Ways. And No Message Could’ve Been Any Clearer: If You Wanna Make The World A Better Place, Take A Look At Yourself And Then Make That…Change!”

nu cred ca pot exprima in cuvinte durerea provocata de moartea lui… va ramane mereu in sufletul meu

Eu nu pot scrie despre el. In ziua in care a murit, am plans si i-am ascultat muzica aproape toata noaptea.

Si inca nu pot scrie despre el. Nu exista cuvinte care sa il defineasca/descrie/ cuprinda…

Voi pastra palaria, casetele audio si dorinta neindeplinita de a-l fi vazut macar o data in carne si oase.

si btw, long time no see frances pui 🙂
